OSD display is buggy

Thu Jun 30, 2005 6:21 am
Hi, I \'m excited using my new amarok 1.3beta2!!

This particular bug though has not been fixed:

When I mess with volume, using the mouse roller over the taskbar icon, the volume OSD pops up, showing the current volume level.

Then, while the volume OSD is still showing, if I leave the mouse above the amarok icon, long enough for the \"what\'s playing\" popup to show, then, when the whats playing pop up goes away, it has erased a portion of the still-there-volume-popup.

So the volume popup get half erased by the whats playing. It isnt redrawn.

I think it just ugly and messed the volume display up. I noticed this since I like long OSD diplay times.

GREAT WORK with amarok, I wish I had time to get involved.....

Oh, you mean the OSD is just pseudo-transparent and doesn\'t update what is behind it (no matter what it is)?

No, I what I mean does not have to do anything with transparency...Just that if another OSD(what`s playing) pops up over the volume OSD, when the whats playing OSD vanishes, the underlying volume OSD doen´t get updated.
