Hi.

I\'m using Guru\'s RPM of amarok 1.3 beta 2 in SuSE 9.3. I use 1.3 because I had much problems of stability with 1.2.

I am using gstreamer with alsasink and I have a problem: sometimes when it plays music, suddenly it\'s freeze. I have to close amarok and I have to kill the proccess.

If I used ossink I don\'t have problems however I can\'t play other sounds. I also used kaffeine with xine.

I tried to configure dmix but I have alsa-1.0.9-9.1, alsamodular-1.8.7-5 and alsa-firmware-1.0.8-5 and dmix howto page says that dmix is configured by default in alsa > 1.0.9-rc2. And I deactivited arts.

Can someone help to resolve the problem with alsa? I\'ll be very grateful.

Thanks.

I have got exactly the same problem. I use amarok from svn with gstreamer 0.8.8. I use the latest versions of alsa but once in a while it just stops playing. I have got a back trace of this:

Looking at the backtrace, it seems that gstreamer is the problem. I don\'t know how to solve this. I would also be happy with a hint.
