Hi,
I\'m a Gentoo user and always when I push one of the suggested song links, amarok creates a new playlist(always the same) and appends it, and plays the first song of it. This playlist has nothing to do with the song played before or the suggested songs. More precise, amarok creates a new background-operation: \"populating playlist\", which seems to take a long time for finishing. I have tried different engines like gstreamer, arts and xine, as well as the amarok versions found in my portage-tree, both, stable or masked, as well as the svn-version. My current is: amarok-1.3_beta2 -arts -debug +flac +gstreamer -kde* -kdeenablefinal +mp3 -mysql -noamazon +opengl -postgres +visualization +vorbis +xine -xinerama +xmms Any ideas? It seems that I\'m alone with this problem. |

Same problem here in Gentoo with Amarok 1.3.3. As soon as I click a title in \"Recently played tracks\" or \"Your favourite tracks\" amarok\'s GUI hangs with \"populating playlist\". Did you find a solution?

This is a known problem, thats why its now off by default. It\'ll be fixed in 1.3.4.
So either turn that option off or switch to mysql.

I\'m now using version 1.3.7 with mySQL. The bug is still there. It seems to me that amaroK\'s best feature is completely unusable...
