I\'ve been getting this annoying behavior in which whenever I have a song playing and start up firefox then amarok instantaneouly crashes, and viceversa if I have a firefox session and start up amarok then firefox instantaneously crashes.
I have observed that if amarok is idle (not playing a song) and I start up the firefox session then they get along fine and I can start playing songs with no problem. I have googled it for days and I haven\'t been able to find a related post, the only one that I have found is the foxytunes bug that crashes the whole X session but that is definitely not related because I don\'t have it installed and I have observed that the same thing happens with mozilla navigator. Initially I was running debian\'s unstable package (amarok 1.2.4) and now I have compiled amarok 1.3 beta 2 and they both present the same behavior. I would like to know if any of you has ever seen or read anything like this and can share some light. I did not compile amarok with debugging enabled so i was wondering if there is any other way in which I can capture any meaningful information to aid troubleshooting. All help would be appreciated! |
