I\'m notice that there is a small problem with the text show in statusbar in version 1.3b2.
Sometimes, with a long album + music name, amarok don\'t read the tags in the string and ends showing the tags in the text. Instead of: Music by Artist on Album amaroK shows (the tags appears and the bold is gone): Music by Artist on Album Take a look at the scrennshot: http://doutorzero.iespana.es/imagens/status_bar.png And I think there is a problem with the standart construction of the string so I suggest that is changed like in my translation: #: statusbar/statusbar.cpp:181 #, c-format msgid \"Playing: %1\" msgstr \"Reproduzindo: %1\" and #: statusbar/statusbar.cpp:157 msgid \"\" \"_: track by artist on album\\n\" \"%1 by %2 on %3\" msgstr \"%2 / %3 - %1\" In this way the playing is in italic and only the track name is in bold. Also the name of the track is in the end so the lenght appears after it: Playing:: Artist / Album - Music (Lenght) I think this way is a lot better that the default: track, artist, album, lenght. Thanks, doutor.zero p.s. In the screenshot (black square) some analyzers don\'t fill the space (the fills only 30% of it). This is correct or a bug? |

Well, this is a known problem due to KSqueezeText not being so great. We\'ll figure out something before 1.3 final.

Sorry, but I don\'t understand what you are trying to say with that... Of course i\'m translating (and updating) the translation for my language, but is a fact that the text in the statusbar is not clear, mainly because all the terms are in bold. Can you ask me why, in your opinion, the text can\'t be in this form below? Album, Artist, Track (Lenght) Thanks, doutor.zero |
