Hi,

My system is an Athlon 1GHz with 1024Mb of RAM running SuSE 9.3 and KDE 3.4. I\'m trying to use the GStreamer engine (gstreamer-0.8.9-5, gstreamer-plugins-0.8.8-13) with amaroK 1.3 beta 2.

I installed GStreamer and the plugins (including extra and excess) from RPMs via YaST. I can specify the GStreamer engine ok, and it runs fine with MP3s, but when I try and add mpc files to the playlist, a small error window appears at the bottom of the screen saying \"Some media could not be loaded (not playable). I\'ve gst-register as a normal user and as root a few times with no success. The output of gst-inspect is:

aRts seems to run the mpcs fine, so at the moment, I\'m forced to use aRtsd rather than GStreamer. Is it possible to manually add plugins to GStreamer, or is there something I\'m missing here?
