hi all,

i\'ve been on vacation for three weeks now and did a

emerge amarok-svn

but it now fails with

>>> Source unpacked.
This Makefile is only for the CVS repository
This will be deleted before making the distribution

*** YOU\'RE USING automake (GNU automake) 1.4-p6.
*** KDE requires automake 1.6.1 or newer
make[1]: *** [cvs] Fehler 1
make: *** [all] Fehler 2

!!! ERROR: media-sound/amarok-svn-1.3 failed.
!!! Function kde_src_compile, Line 127, Exitcode 1
!!! no configure script found, generation unsuccessful
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status

the ebuild worked before and has not been changed.

has been any changes to the makefiles?
i think its a configuration problem somewhere because on my system the following automake version seem to be present:

automake
automake automake-1.4 automake-1.5 automake-1.6 automake-1.7 automake-1.8 automake-1.9

any suggestions on how to make amarok build again from svn?

thx, bye

This is a bug introduced with a current update of the gentoo automake-wrapper.

Current amaroK SVN compiled fine for me using UNSERMAKE.

One thing you could try is to rename the automake-wrapper:
[code:1]
mv /usr/bin/automake /usr/bin/automaKe
[/code:1]
If this works don\'t forget to rename it back after the emerge.

You can also add

export WANT_AUTOMAKE=1.6 to your svn ebuild.
