Help please, amaroK can\'t open most of my cover pictures! :S
When trying to open them for display in the context info of an album, the preview is not shown and when I select the file, I only have some sort of an error icon then. The files are PNG, about 1400x700 or 700x700, and about 1-2 MB in size, and they have been created using ACDsee on Windows. I later found out that some other Linux programs have problems with these files too. KView and KolourPaint can not open them, Kuickshow can and Gwenview too, but it does not display preview icons, while GIMP opens the pictures, but displays an \"error while reading\" message. Anyone some idea how to solve the problem and use the pictures for amaroK? And how do I add my pictures to the download library? I found that many of my albums are not available. Strange however, since most of them are available at amazon.de !! The pics are downloaded from amazon, aren\'t then? |

Just found the Amazon localisation in the cover manager! Great! B)
So I don\'t need to import so much more pictures anyway, but still, not all covers are found and some are wrong, especially compilations. I\'d still welcome any hint about how to make my PNGs usable quickly and easily. |
