Trying to install amarok 1.3 beta 2,but every route i take, i face problems.
1. I first tried compiling from source. It asked for gstreamer and i tried to install that(0.8.10??). It asks for libxml2, but i already have that. so i decided to try and install the rpm. 2. RPM- there is a link to a site hosting rpms but when i try to install the rpm(amarok-1.3) it asks for amarok-engine 1.3 but if try to install amarok-engine-1.3, it asks for amarok-1.3, What do i do????? How do I install amarok 1.3??? |

Install them together.
Put the amarok rpm along with the engines you want to install together in a directory. Then as root, enter that directory on the command line and type \'urpmi *\' if you have urpmi sources setup correctly, any additional packages the engines need should get installed too. |

Thank you . Did not think of that! BTW keep up the good work.

if that also fails
http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/index.php?lan ... h=on#third this link has a small wizard to update your URPMI sources. Amarok 1.3 and it\'s dependancies should be there. |

amaroK 1.3 beta was released after 2005LE was released, so it is not part of the sources you included. This is why I made beta packages for 2005LE. In fact, I believe the version in main is 1.2.3. Although, I could be wrong. |
