gstreamer problems

Thu Jul 28, 2005 6:32 pm
I have been trying to compile amarok from source with gstreamer but it comes up with this:
[code:1]
The optional GStreamer-engine will not be built. If you want to use the
= powerful GStreamer multimedia framework with amaroK, please download
= version 0.8.6 or higher from http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/
= If you are sure GStreamer is already installed then there is most likely a
= problem with your pkg-config setup, see amarok/README
[/code:1]

[code:1]
checking for gstreamer-0.8 >= 0.8.6... yes

[/code:1]

but it finds that I have gstreamer installed I am using Suse 9.3 Professional. What is the problem?
Thanks for your help :)
