I\'m running Debian Etch, and I installed amarok v1.2.4 via apt, and every single time I run amarok, it freezes up.
All the windows are created, and the systray icon is created, then it starts accessing my HDD and creating the DB I\'m assuming, and it just freezes up. Doesn\'t respond to clicks, windows don\'t update, systray right-click doesn\'t respond. I have to kill it via the console. I also tried running it again, but this time configing it not to scan any folders for music, and to use the default sqlite DB. Still does the same exact thing. Here\'s a command line output of running amarok: [code:1]steve@DebServ:~$ amarok amaroK: [Loader] Starting amarokapp.. amaroK: [Loader] Don\'t run gdb, valgrind, etc. against this binary! Use amarokapp. QPixmap: Cannot create a QPixmap when no GUI is being used QPixmap: Cannot create a QPixmap when no GUI is being used QPixmap: Cannot create a QPixmap when no GUI is being used QPixmap: Cannot create a QPixmap when no GUI is being used kbuildsycoca running...
