I have the a problem with the cover manager. In my collection I have cover images for every album in the same folder as the music, but amarok catches up only a few of them automatically. I cannot find any pattern yet why some are accepted and most refused, the only thing I can say is:
the naming scheme is the same for accepted and refused ones I tried with jpg and png It also doesn\'t pick up covers that I copied over from the amarok cover dir in the home directory after downloading them Starting amarok from the console I get this: QImage::smoothScale: Image is a null image Is there any log where I can see for which file it prints this? |

I believe if you want amaroK to pick up cover images from the folder where the music is located, you need to have cover in the name of the file.

Go figure. Restarted the box today and it now picks up most of my covers. I am surprised because I had the required naming scheme for all the albums it picked up only today correct already yesterday, I did check this out. Maybe I should have restarted amarok between the renamings. I am gonna correct the naming scheme for the other cover pics too. Maybe a faq entry in the wiki would be useful.
Thanks, Valentin. |

It still doesn\'t pick up all covers it should. An example:
Directory and tag album name are \"Kenshin OST - Ishin Shishi no Requiem\". The cover pics are named \"Kenshin OST - Ishin Shishi no Requiem.png\" and \"Kenshin OST - Ishin Shishi no Requiem.jpg\". I tried to delete the cover pics amarok has cached, restarted amarok and even logged out too. Whats wron? |

Another observation: If I choose \"Metadaten bearbeiten anzeigen/bearbeiten\" I can see a cover for every album.
