proxy settings for internet connection?

Hi all,
I was wondering if there is a possibility to make amaroK use proxy for Internet connection. The thing is, that everything what passes proxy counts to my quota, which is rather small, so I would like either to set proxy for amaroK or disable Internet connections, but I haven\'t found any of these possibilities.

Thanks for help in advance,
Kyvis

When using the latest amaroK release, this setting is available to you with the xine-engine.

Yes, you can change it for the xine engine, I think even in the old xine engine dialog.

For non-music playing stuff (like the lyrics and wikipedia) I believe your KDE proxy settings would be honored.

Thanks a lot, I used gstreamer before :)

But on the other hand, I believe that lyrics and wiki don\'t use proxy I set for xine engine. Or I am wrong?

I\'ve the same problem with proxy for amarok, I\'ve set the proxy globally through KDE but it doesn\'t work for amarok.... too bad I really like the feature with having the lyrics.
