Right now I have sort by Genre / Artist / Album in the Collectin.

Up until I moved to beta3, empty genres in the genre list didn\'t show up. Now they do, so my mis-tags (like accidentally misspelling a genre name and then correcting it) still pollute my Genre listing.

Is there any way of getting them out of there?

Yes I\'m having the same problem. I just set all my genre tags and had to rebuild my collection to get rid of all the empty genres
