Hi,
After a success compilation and installation, amarok does not start. It say somtheing that no engines was found and that is building a kde database new.....and so on recommeded me a new compilation and installation. like: # su -c \"make uninstall\" # ./configure -- prefix=\'kde-config --prefix\' && su -c \"make install\" # kbuoldsycoca # amarok Unfortunatelly with the same result. No sound engines found. I have compiled and installed my old 1.2.4 again with arts and xine (now also akode available after an update to KDE3.4.2) without problem and it works. What is going on with 1.3 compilation and or installation? At least the icon is changed great one. THX for Support. Best regards an amaroK fan. Juan-Lutz |
