The amaroK on my Ubuntu box will only tag Ogg and Flac files. For some reason Musicbrainz says it can\'t find any info on the album if the song is an MP3. I have libmad installed and the MP3\'s play just fine, but like I said Musicbrainz doesn\'t recognise them.

yup use another distro

as ubuntu b0rked mp3 support, their libmusicbrainz and libtunepimp are compiled without mp3 support, so you have to recompile them else you\'ll never be able to use mb for mp3\'s

btw, google knows the anwser too
