Hi,
I\'m French, and pretty noob in the Linux world, so don\'t blame me ^^ One of the default playlist of AmaroK is to play 50 random songs from the collection. I would like to launch this playlist from the desktop. I suppose a script is able to do that, but I don\'t know anything about it, and I\'m a bit lazy to search ![]() Thank you. Well, I also want to congrulate you about the prog. It\'s wonderful and has no equal in the Windows world ! Just something you could add : an option for autorenaming audio files from the tag. |

the spelling is amaroK
![]() actually I don\'t think that a script can access smart playlists .. maybe I\'m wrong ![]() for renaming according to tags you can use krename http://www.krename.net/ (a very powerfull application) ... but yeah, such a feature would be sweet

Oki... It\'s strange that it isn\'t possible to access playlist via a script... Is there any other possibility to play a dynamic playlist while amaroK isn\'t loaded ?
I didn\'t know KRename, I\'ll try =) If amaroK is the correct spelling, some packages & files need to be renamed ^^ :

dude the only file which ships with amaroK and starts upper case is
/scripts/shouter/Amarok.py and I guess there is a good reason why it starts upper case Post edited by: Apachelogger, at: 2005/08/19 15:21
