I\'m probably doing something stupid (as usual) but, I\'ve been using sqlite for some time without problems, now I\'ve rebuilt amarok from source (gentoo) and from guru\'s rpm\'s on suse 9.3 to use postgresql. This is all working fine except that the watch folders no longer automatically detect changes in the file structure (adds/moves/changes) and the database is not updated. If I manually rescan my collection the changes are reflected correctly, however this is time consuming.
Music files are on my file server on an NFS volume, amarok 1.3, postgresql 8.0.3 database is on the same server as the music files. Are my expectations incorrect? |

Perhaps the option to scan for changes got turned off somehow. Its in the Collection panel of the amaroK Configure window.

No, the check box is on and you can see in the lower info bar amarok says \"Updating collection\" except that it doesn\'t actually update anything.

This could be a bug then, none of the developers use postgresql.
