Hi!
I\'ve switched to 1.3 now using the beta version. I am using Amarok in a Ubuntu Hoary Gnome enviroment and so far everything works fine. However I realized that Amarok took much resources from the system when changing tracks. I couldnt actually understand what was happening. Therefore I had a look at the console and got the following: amarok: [CollectionDB] [ERROR!] [virtual QStringList SqliteConnection::query(const QString&)] sqlite3_compile error: amarok: [CollectionDB] [ERROR!] no such table: related_artists amarok: [CollectionDB] [ERROR!] on query: SELECT suggestion FROM related_artists WHERE artist = \'U2\' LIMIT 0, 10; amarok: END__: virtual bool CurrentTrackJob::doJob() - Took 2.2s amarok: [ThreadWeaver] Job completed: CurrentTrackJob. Jobs pending: 0 amarok: BEGIN: virtual void CollectionDB::customEvent(QCustomEvent*) amarok: END__: virtual void CollectionDB::customEvent(QCustomEvent*) - Took 8.9e-05s amarok: [CollectionDB] [ERROR!] [virtual QStringList SqliteConnection::query(const QString&)] sqlite3_compile error: amarok: [CollectionDB] [ERROR!] no such table: directories amarok: [CollectionDB] [ERROR!] on query: SELECT dir, changedate FROM directories; amarok: [void CollectionDB::createTables(DbConnection*)] amarok: [CollectionDB] [ERROR!] [virtual QStringList SqliteConnection::query(const QString&)] sqlite3_compile error: I hope got the right lines for you. Don\'t have too much experience with code. Anyway the problem was caused by enabling Audioscrobbler plug-in to look for similar artists. After unchecking that flag everything went back to normal. The process must have been repeating all the time and therefore causing the loss of resources on the system. Anybody any clue bout it? |
