Can't compile 1.3.1 from source

I ./configure it fine, and then, during make, I get this error over and over:
blockanalyzer.cpp:277: error: no match for \'operator

Ah, I just saw this in the README

Note: amaroK-1.3 will not compile on Mandriva LE2005 with KDE 3.3.2. This is not
an amaroK related problem, and unfortunately we are powerless to help. Mandriva
has backported fvisibility to their GCC which breaks compilation. Alternatives
are either using the 1.2.x amaroK branch, or upgrading to KDE 3.4.

Oh well

And apparently this web forum is broken because my first message was cut off as I pasted the error. I guess some of the symbols I pasted were interpreted as an end of message. Sigh.
