I\'m running 1.3.1, built from source with the Xine engine and using \"autodetect\" output plugin on ubuntu breezy.
My collection is on a set of samba shares. When I pause, then restart, playing a song in Amarok, Amarok claims that the \"local file doesn\'t exist\", then begins scrolling through the playlist like mad, apparently believing that none of the files exist. Occassionally I\'ll get a little info popup in the lower left corner about Xine being unable to access the sound device. Stopping and restarting Amarok cures the problem. I\'m on a little bit of shakey ground with diagnosing this since I upgraded to Breezy (currently in preview), built 1.3.1 (I was on 1.2), and switched from gstreamer to Xine all around the same time, so any one of them, or some combination, could be the problem. But I was wondering if anyone else has seen similar behavior and has a clue? |

*bump*
Well one change has seemed to help alleviate this problem: disabling the screensaver-pause script. Hope that helps someone. Still curious about this problem though. |
