This one i am stuck on.
When ever i am running amarok it seems to take all my system resources. I am getting load ave\'s of 3~7 with amarok running. In any other case my system has a load average of 0.2 or less. The process that is eating all the resources is amarokapp. Thinking it was my issue, fired up Xmms. Xmms runs fine and does not eat system resources. Amarok also likes to crash, with no output or reason why.
Any ideas??

With your music on NFS, you might want to disable the Collection option \"Watch folders for changes\". It might hog CPU.

Also, in case your $HOME is on NFS as well, the sqlite db won\'t work. You\'ll have to move it to a local FS.

Only the music is out on the NFS share, i have also used samba share\'s trying to fix this problem. Collection \"Watch these folders\" is now turned off. Still no luck. amarokapp app is taking about 10% of my system and X is taking up the rest. Any ideas?
