I have an amd64 machine. Tried Suse9.3, Suse 10beta, and now Fedora Core 4
and all three do the same thing, when trying to start JESS visualization plugin, the window opens, then closes quickly. It will not work in xmms either. This is with
base installs + updates. I tried compiling qt, libvisual, amarok, xmms and jess
from source and it still does the same thing. JESS window opens, then quickly closese. Tonight I will try recompiling amarok with debug enabled. See if I get
more info on the command line. But right now there are no errors being reported
on the command line. Anyone else with amd64\'s experience these problems. Could it be somehow that I am compiling JESS in 32bit mode and amarok in 64?
I am usually pretty slick with compiling and getting things to work. This is the first time in 5 years or more that I couldn\'t compile and get it to work.
