amaroK 1.3.3
Engine: arts KDE: 3.4.2 OS: FreeBSD (7.0-CURRENT) Since I upgraded to 1.3.2 (and now 1.3.3) I cannot get smart playlists to work. The pre-defined lists (\"All Collection\", \"50 Random Tracks\") works as they should. However, if I try to create one - by clicking \"Add\" -> \"Smart Playlist\". I give it some random name, have the \"match the following conditions\" checked - and choose fx. \"Artist\", \"is\" and the scroll down and choose some random artist and hit \"OK\". The list is created, and appears under \"Smart Playlists\". When double-clicking the list, or dragging it over in the playlist window; nothing happens.. The status bar says \"Populating playlist...\" but nothing happens. Any ideas ? |

That could be the reason. Postgres support isn\'t tested very well - none of our developers uses it.
Why not make a bug report, someone might fix it.

Mich,
if you would be kind enough to write a little tutorial on how to use postgres with amaroK, i\'m sure many people would be appreciative. I tried to setup postgres once, but didnt know how to set up tables etc. http://amarok.kde.org/amarokwiki/index. ... esql_HowTo Thanks, Seb |
