KDE Version in the bugtracking system

Tue Nov 01, 2005 10:25 pm
Hi,

I just tried to report a bug in the KDE bugtracking system and realized they changed the version drop down menu for the KDE version. The system will not let you report a bug if you run a KDE version smaller than 3.4 (which is true for all Debian stable users at least!), which is just stupid as amaroK is not bundled with the KDE releases and you can run the most recent amaroK release also on older versions.

It forces me to lie about my KDE version. But I really think the bugtracking system should accept older KDE versions for KDE apps that are not shipped with KDE.

Not a big thing, but a little bit annoying...

Marcel
