I\'m using amarok 1.3.5 on FC4 , KDE 3.4.3 (with gstreamer - alsa engine if it matters)
I think that I encountered a bug. Suppose that I created a a subfolder called \'Rock\' under the \'Playlists\' folder in the playlists tab. Then I dragged a track onto the \'Rock\' folder. A popup window opens and asks me the name of the name playlist I am creating. Let\'s say I put the name \'Gothic\' on it. Then the playlist \'Gothic\' is created under the \'Rock\' subfolder, with the track I just dragged on it. But the problem is, the track is displayed twice in there. A second problem is, if I go erase one of these duplicate tracks from the playlist, the total playtime displayed under \'Gothic\' stays the same. Then no matter how many other tracks I drag onto the \'Gothic\' playlist, the total playtime is always displayed incorrect. I apologize if this was reported before, Regards -orcan Post edited by: ogetbilo, at: 2005/11/01 21:12 |

Nobody has the same problem?
Can anyone reproduce what I said? or is this specific to me? |

no, i really can\'t reproduce this - i have no idea what is going on.
Can you check ~.kde/share/apps/amarok/playlists - look into gothic.m3u and check if there are 2 entries for your track. Thanks |

No, there is just one entry in that file.
I can reproduce this anytime I want. I tried to restart amarok after I saw the duplicate tracks. Then when I go to the playlists, I can see the \'gothic\' playlist with a \'2 Tracks\' notice next to it. But when I click the + icon next to it the playlist opens with a single entry and the \'2 tracks\' is corrected to \'1 track\'. |

I\'ve seen similar duplicate entry bugaboos. I just chuck everything except album covers and let the first run wizard do its thing (rebuild the DB, etc.)
Qt: 3.3.3 KDE: 3.2.3 amaroK: 1.1 So whatever the bug is is ain\'t fixed yet, huh? |

Hi,
I\'m using Amarok 1.3.8 with KDE 3.4 in OpenSuse10 and I\'ve got exactly the same \"duplicate entries in collection\" problem. Does anyone know which file I must remove to reset the whole collection so that Amarok will rebuild my entire collection from scratch ? Thanks, Fred |
