I backed up my .kde/share/apps/amarok directory including collection.db and all before a new installation of my OS. So after amarok was installed I just copied the files into the new directory. My collection has the same paths as before. At first the werent any problems, but when I put new music in my collection folders they never appear in amarok, even though \"updating collection\" is run.
If I try to rebuild the collection everything just dissapears! With the same and correct folders. Then if I remove collection.db and then build a collection from scratch, then it works fine, but all my old listening data is gone. Is there something I need to do when restoring from my previous collection.db ? |
