amarok crash after a few seconds

Fri Nov 18, 2005 12:09 pm
Amarok crashes after a few seconds. I had a older version installed and when I upgraded the problem disapeared for a day or so. But now it is back. I have amarok 1.3.6 from linuxpackages.net installed on linux.
This is what amarok tells me:

Does anyone know where the problem is? amarok/xine/amazone??? and what can be done about it?

It seems that amarok crashes after a few seconds of execution. Remove /.kde/share/apps/amarok of your user folder. This bug is due to some album covers are protected by 90 days licenese. Once you restart amarok again it won't crash. you will have to rebuild your collection. But it works.

Erm. It has been fixed long ago. You do realize that 1.3.6 is outdated?

I had few crashes "after a few seconds of execution." and I'm using 1.4-svn (few svn ups didn't help)
