I\'m running Mandriva 2006, so amarok-1.3.1-3mdk.
I have all my mp3s on a remote smb share, mounted read-only. When I try to add the mp3 dirs to amarok, enumerates the directories (I think), but no files are added to the collection. I can add files from my local home dir. so amarok is working. |

I\'m experiencing the same problem with amarok (1.3.7-2.20060gm). I installed libsqlite0-2.8.16-1mdk, as well as the sqlite tools (still researching version compatibility on sqlite). I also installed amarok via urpmi, as per http://www.gkmweb.com/amarok/readme (which also installed taglib-1.4-1mdk and amarok-engine-arts. And I urpmi\'d engines for xine, helix, and gstreamer (not that that has anything to do with it).
I\'ve tried deleting ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok, but the problem persists. My context browser does not appear to be working correctly either. Is yours? |

It\'s a known bug in some Samba versions, which confuses TagLib. I hear it has been fixed only recently.
