I\'m a GNOME user but I\'ve been using amaroK for uite a long time. But some hours ago (after a reboot) it just wouldn\'t work anymore. The splash screen appears for maybe 1/10 second before disappearing. In a terminal I get this :
[code:1]amaroK: [Loader] Starting amarokapp.. amaroK: [Loader] Don\'t run gdb, valgrind, etc. against this binary! Use amarokapp. amaroK: [Loader] amarokapp probably crashed![/code:1] any ideas ? |

Sorry for the double post, I should have been more precise. I\'m running Ubuntu 5.10 with 2.6.10 kernel and amaroK 1.3.1

Uhm, you don\'t exactly provide useful information. 1.3.0, 1.3.1?
Anyway, you should upgrade to 1.3.7, it will probably fix your problem.

To provide more useful debugging information, you\'ll probably need to use gdb. what you have provided really won\'t help much...
Sirius: you\'re running debian \"UNSTABLE\".. look into your OS before assuming it\'s amarok. |
