is it possible to change the albumcoversfolder:
~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/albumcovers/ to another location on my hard drive ?? i dont want to save the cover files in my \"/\" directory because i want to save it on another partition. or is there a way to map this folder to another? in linux in general? |

I have my album covers on my server, with the directory mounted under ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/albumcovers/ .

i found out the solution. for everyone who\'s interested:
the solution works with the \"mount --bind olddir newdir\" command: in root console type: mount --bind \"~\" stands for your home directory like /home/user to autostart this action on every systemboot add the following line to your /etc/fstab : |
