ipod not recognized

Sun Dec 25, 2005 2:38 pm
I can\'t get my ipod to be recognized. It works fine with gtkpod. It worked with the older amarok. I wanted to try out some of the new ipod features from the 1.4 release so I installed libgpod .3 as well as the svn version of amarok. Running Ubuntu breezy.

Below is what I see when amarok is started from a prompt.
Any ideas?

Hi, Phlegm!

ipod support is currently being reorganized. If you want more reliable ipod support then please try revision 490739, that was before the restructuring started. Do
svn update -r490739
in order to get that.

Thanks for the quick reply. I\'ve been using the amaroksvn install script to update. I tried reverting back to the version you mentioned but it didn\'t work either. I think I\'ll just keep updating each few days and see what happens. I can still do my actual updates with gtkpod for the time being.
