Amarok doesn\'t start! [SOLVED]

Mon Dec 26, 2005 7:41 pm
Hi,

After upgrading to kde3.5 (suse10.0) amarok doesn\'t start anymore. This is all I get:

oscar@gardenia:~> amarok
amaroK: [Loader] Starting amarokapp..
amaroK: [Loader] Don\'t run gdb, valgrind, etc. against this binary! Use amarokapp.
QLayout: Adding KToolBar/mainToolBar (child of QVBox/unnamed) to layout for PlaylistWindow/PlaylistWindow
amaroK: [Loader] amaroK is taking a long time to load! Perhaps something has gone wrong?

How can I know what\'s happening?

UPDATE:

I can\'t kill the proccess amarokapp and some time later, this is what happens:

oscar@gardenia:~> DCOP aborting while waiting for answer from \'amarok\'
amarokapp: Fatal IO error: client killed
kio (KIOConnection): ERROR: Header read failed, errno=104
kio (KIOConnection): ERROR: Header has invalid size (-1)

Solved!

A problem with the firewall caused the nfs mounts to be unavailable.
