I have the same problem as zgerrz in post \"compiling error in amarok 1.3.7 in fedora core 4\".
I am using Fedora 4 (2.6.14-1.1653_FC4) with KDE 3.5. The error code I got from make was: ktrm.cpp: In member function ‘int KTRMRequestHandler:: startLookup(KTRMLookup*)’: /usr/include/tunepimp/tp_c.h:639: error: too few arguments to function ‘int tp_AddFile(void*, const char*, int)’ ktrm.cpp:69: error: at this point in file ktrm.cpp: In constructor ‘KTRMRequestHandler::KTRMRequestHandler()’: ktrm.cpp:124: error: ‘tp_SetUseUTF8’ was not declared in this scope ktrm.cpp:125: error: invalid conversion from ‘void (*)(void*, void*, TPCallbackEnum, int)’ to ‘void (*)(void*, void*, TPCallbackEnum, int, TPFileStatus)’ ktrm.cpp:125: error: initializing argument 2 of ‘void tp_SetNotifyCallback(void*, void (*)(void*, void*, TPCallbackEnum, int, TPFileStatus), void*)’ ktrm.cpp: In member function ‘virtual void KTRMLookup::collision()’: ktrm.cpp:559: error: base operand of ‘->’ has non-pointer type ‘artistresult_t’ ktrm.cpp:560: error: base operand of ‘->’ has non-pointer type ‘albumresult_t’ ktrm.cpp:562: error: base operand of ‘->’ has non-pointer type ‘albumresult_t’ make[4]: *** [ktrm.o] Error 1 make[4]: Leaving directory `/home/veitikka/download/amarok-1.3.7/amarok/src\' make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/veitikka/download/amarok-1.3.7/amarok/src\' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/veitikka/download/amarok-1.3.7/amarok\' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/veitikka/download/amarok-1.3.7\' make: *** [all] Error 2 This problem came up after updating KDE 3.4 to 3.5. Before that everything went just fine. I have tried to compile amaroK 1.3.6 after KDE update and got the same make error. Configure gives no errors at all but when I run make the problem is always the same. Can somebody please help me with this? The New Year is coming and I am going to hold a home party at my house and I need to use amaroK as my jukebox. I don\'t want to use **** software like winamp! So if You know a solution for this problem, please reply! I would really appericiate that and You are welcome to my New Year Party here in Kerava, Finland:P |

You need libtunepimp 0.3, but not 0.4.

Thanks! It works now like it should. Does it interfere with functionality of the program if I upgrade libtunepimp-03.0 to 0.4.0 after installing amarok 1.3.7?
