Excuse me for my bad english level but I hope you\'ll understand.
I\'ve just added the musics of the Chorus (les choristes) and i wanted to edit the tags. And all the musics with accentuation like é for example is not found on musicbrainz. I neither know where is exactly the probleme nor if it already signaled but the problem is still in the 1.3.7 version of amarok. |

Well, in fact, it's not that MusicBrainz doesn't find the song (it could since foreign music is less submitted to MusicBrainz), but that an error is returned instead of the typical "not found message".
I suspect the bug being in Amarok because if I remove the accent character, then redo the search, if MusicBrainz finds it, it will return normally and successfully a record which contains that accent character. Try to research MusicBrainz and the error will happen again. It seems that accent characters are not sent properly to MuiscBrainz. |

Hmm... try the latest version of Amarok if possible, version 1.4.5. I think at some point they started using more Unicode.

Indeed - 1.3.7 is a *very* old version of amarok - bear in mind though, that the original post was made over a year ago.

I just didn't start a new post (you know, I did search the forum before asking... ![]()

might be a prob with tunepimp and the way it's been compiled...
also check http://bugs.kde.org to see if this has been reported. for future reference though, this underlines why you need to specify as much info as possible.
