How do I get Amarok to play my audio cd in Suse 10?

I have installed Suse 10 and then tried using Amarok and it will not let me play my audio cd in the cd drive. I cannot even select Play Audio Cd from the actions menu.

I searched the forum and seen where to try saying in Filechooser audiocd:/ but it says that is not vaild.

Can someone please help me with this problem.

Thank you

Your engine needs to support KIO. I believe the default engine in Suse 10 is Helix, which does not support KIO. Personally, I would just rip the CD, or just use KsCD - Amarok is best as a collection manager. Alternatively you can try the arts or gstreamer engines, which I believe both support KIO, or possibly xine does.

thanks for the reply, I will try and install gstreamer and see if that helps, I can use Kaffine already, just wanted to try out Amarok and see how it worked.

Guess it is time to see how to install gstreamer now in Suse 10 :)
