I am pretty new to Linux, amaroK seems a pretty good reason to change to Linux..
I am using Kanotix, which is based on Debian. When I update amaroK via apt-get, the newest version is 1.3.7, I believe that 1.3.8 exists, but it is not in the package list yet. Is there any thing I can add to my sources list to get the newer versions eariler? I don\'t fancy compiling it my self, as doing that scares me at the moment, as I have no idea what I\'m doing... If not, then I\'d better be patient and wait! Thanks for your help, Rich |

Has anyone got a repository which allows me to get 1.8 through my package manager (adept) on kubuntu?
I\'m disinclined to go from source because I would prefer my package manager to remain aware of dependancies and versions installed. |
