Hi all, i\'m starting to use amaroK to manage my podcast subscriptions, and having some difficulties and questions. Kindly advise, thanks very much!
1. i\'m using GNOME actually, and not KDE, so i do not have kMail installed (use Thunderbird). At times, amaroK tries to launch kMail. e.g. i subscribe to this ByteTalk podcast, and whenever i try to play an episode (i always download the MP3 instead of streaming), it will try to launch kMail. Why does it do that? And how can i stop it from trying to launch kMail? (Or should i just install kMail?) 2. How do i configure or even find out where the podcasts are downloaded to? (As mentioned above, i always download the MP3s instead of streaming, but this downloading is also rather automated, i.e. just right-click and choose \"Download Media\". 3. I understand (or assume, rather) that once a podcast is downloaded, the \"Download Media\" option is greyed out. In other words, if the \"Download Media\" is greyed out, it means the media is already downloaded. (Please correct me if my assumption is wrong.) But i have two problems with this: a) For one of my podcast, the \"Download Media\" is greyed out, but it seems like the file is corrupted or not downloaded. b) For another of my podcast, the \"Download Media\" is greyed out, but it seems like the file is incomplete. So is there anyway to force a re-download? (Or do i have to locate the downloaded file and delete it?) TIA and Regards, Edwin |
