ok i have a bit of a problem.
i have xmms with mp3 support and got amarok to install.

i recently ran \'yum update\' but now nothing is working properly.
my xmms says my soundcard is in use and my amarok crashes before it even loads up.

i know this is an amarok forum, but perhaps the error im getting from xmms is the reason why amarok wont work.

i dont have the amarok-xine package because i cant find a way to get all the dependencies.

if i knew how to log an error i would.

Could it be that your upgrade replaced libtunepimp-0.3 with libtunepimp-0.4? This would explain the crashes.

im still having trouble.
i removed libtunepimp-0.4 and put in 0.3 however im still having trouble.
i even tried the \'unhoarked\' version as well

im starting to think this is more trouble than this is worth
