Add me to this list too. the article that was provided earlier (http://www.thejemreport.com/mambo/content/view/178/42/) was actually very helpfull. This seems to be an issue with amarok. You could install a new version of winamp if you like, it doesnt have to mplayer. But mplayer seems to be a really awesome player. The rest of the stuff in this article is good too, because it tells you what packages you need to install to make your system have all the multimedia support.
