Hi,

I recently upgraded kde to 3.5 using konstruct.

Right now the kde is installed in /home/Sjaaksken/kde3.5

When I start kde I get a message:

amaroK could not find any sound-engine plugins. amaroK is now updating the KDE configuration database. Please wait a couple of minutes, then restart amaroK.

If this does not help, it is likely that amaroK is installed under the wrong prefix, please fix your installation using:

$cd /path/to/amarok/source-code/
$su -c "make uninstall"
$./configure --prefix=\'kde-config --prefix\' éé su -c "make install"
$kbuildsycoca
$amarok

More information can be found in the README file. For further asistance join us at #amarok on irc.freenode.net.

So I did uninstall amarok in the source folder. I reconfigured passing the /home/Sjaaksken/kde3.5/bin/kde-config\' option to the prefix.

I than got the following error:

[code:1]configure: loading site script /home/Sjaaksken/kde3.5/bin/kde-config
/home/Sjaaksken/kde3.5/bin/kde-config: line 1: ELF: command not found
configure: loading site script /home/Sjaaksken/kde3.5/bin/kde-config
/home/Sjaaksken/kde3.5/bin/kde-config: line 1: ELF: command not found
[/code:1]

and it fails to make install.

Any ideas?
