i\'m a newbie, this is my first post here. i have installed gstreamer (and gstreamer-plugin) via Yum (fedora core 4). Amarok say:
- mp3 = gts-engine cliam it cannot play mp3 files
. mpc = some media could not be loaded (not playable)

i\'m sad, i love amarok because it is similar to foobar which i use under windows (and even better)

can you help me?

What\'s mpc? Are you sure that gstreamer can play it?

how check is it is supported?

for xine, just try it (xine musicfile.mpc).
For gstreamer, google says that there is a plugin. There was a command to check your installed plugins (but as I am not using gstreamer, I cannot tell the name ATM).
Maybe google if your distribution has a plugin package for it.

The musepack gstreamer plugin is classified as gst-plugins-bad.
