From time to time I listen to some audio streams.

Typically I use Amarok for most of my music but it won\'t play the streaming audio.

Kaffiene will play the stream. I\'m using the Xine engine plugin for Amarok. Kaffiene is just a Xine frontend, no? Why won\'t this work?

It\'s because the stream uses the proprietary \"ASX\" playlist format from Microsoft, which is not supported by Airborne. amaroK 1.4 supports this format.

You can, however, download the playlist, and add the URL inside directly to amaroK. (Or wait for the 1.4-beta, which will arrive real soon now B)
