don\'t know what to do, i tried reinstalling, but it wouldn\'t help. it\'s too bad because i really don\'t like the stinky kaffeine player and i love amarok soo so much...

maybe someone can help...

Hey, just found your post. I was getting the same problem.

I renamed my /home/cutter/.kde/share/apps/amarok directory, and then AmaroK would start without crashing.

I had to rebuild my collection db, but at least I can use it again.

I had moved around a lot of my collection, so I am wondering if this is what broke the db.
