Problem with my collection on read-only NTFS mount

Hi!

My music is on a NTFS partition, which is mounted read-only (of course!). Amarok builds the collection and plays music fine. But when I click on any song in the sidebar (Recently played, Favourites or Newest Tracks) Amarok completely hangs with \"Populating playlist\".

I copied some of my music files to a folder on my ext3 Linux partition and added these to my Amarok collection - sidebar actions on these songs work fine.

This problem must be related to playing songs from a read-only and/or NTFS share.

Is this a bug in Amarok?

Thanks,

Christoph

No, works fine for me. I also got part of my collection on NTFS.

As I said, for me it does work when playing files from a ext3 partition. What am I doing wrong?
