Hi,
i just installed amarok 1.4 beta1 today and when I start amarok, it tells me that it can\'t find libqtextra.so.1 (no such file or directory). any idea what could be wrong? gootz |
|
same here....
Kubuntu Breezy
any ideas..? the google results for libqtextra are awsome... :silly: |
|
semisolved
./configure --without-exscalibar and amarok seems to work fine... |
|
The exscalibar install target doesn\'t update the shared library cache. Run ldconfig (/sbin/ldconfig in Fedora) as root after installing exscalibar and you should be good to go.

Yes, after adding the path to the libqtextra.so.1 (here: /usr/share/qt3/lib) in /etc/ld.so.conf it really works. (using Ubuntu, you have to create this file manually) Another solution is written down, in the excalibar\'s INSTALL file (yes, I know, rtfm  ) put this path in $LD_LIBRARY_PATH and you\'re done.... Now I have nifty, colourful bars in my playlist :side: Gaspode, missing the Dynamic-Playlist-Button |
