On Kubuntu Breezy, I get the following error trying to compile.

../../amarok/src/.libs/libamarok.so: undefined reference to `TagLib::FileRef::addFileTypeResolver(TagLib::FileRef::FileTypeResolver const*)\'

Any ideas?

Nevermind.. I\'d installed libtag 1.4 to the wrong directory.

I had same problem but fixed it.

Had to ensure taglib 1.3 was uninstalled and when compiling taglib 1.4 had to use ./configure --prefix=/usr

That worked for me at least.

Also had to remove the old amarok folder from .kde as it kept crashing on startup
