in 1.4.svn the score-bar won\'t be shown.
is there any solution? rokk ![]() |

It is shown. But instead of the score, the score-bar does now depend on \'rating\'. These are those five stars you can assign to your songs.

ok, but why are the stars gone now?
the rating as number is shown, but not the stars. the script \'score2rating.rb\' doesn\'t work... ![]() |

like this
the sbinner doesn\'t appear, just the sbouter and another thing, where is the path for the images defined, which are used by the new collection statistics? and where are the paths to any image defined? ![]() |

Looks perfectly normal if you have not set any rating values. Did you enable the box by rightclicking on the top bar, then selecting add column -> rating ?
Then you can set rating values, and the scorebar should increase. -- It looks like it is using default kde icons, so have a look in /usr/kde/3.5/share/icons Post edited by: alanceil, at: 2006/02/17 12:09 |

i got 2 rating columns and they don\'t go together. do i have to set up the stars manually to every song? i think that was much more better in the 1.3 series.

Like I said in another thread: it would be very nice if you could change the rating by clicking on the stars in the context browser, too. Adding another column just to do this is not so nice and not necessary I think....

why isn\'t it automated like before? the score bar always grew with the score number.
having two ratings is not very useful. i think this is a step backwards. ![]() |

Score is automated.
Rating is done by hand. You have the choice to use one, the other, both, or neither. If you don\'t like the hand-rating, stick to the score. Where exactly does giving more choice cause a step backwards? |

it\'s a step backwards, because in the 1.3 series the rating worked fine and now none of my songs are rated and not rated songs have no rating bar.
in the context browser both are shown, even if you don\'t use one of them. i think that\'s no good. what do i need a rating and a seperate score for? Post edited by: rokkford, at: 2006/02/18 14:15 ![]() |

They are rated automatically, the \"score\" thing increases or decreases like before. It just isn\'t shown any more in the scorebar.
I didn\'t say that this is a good thing ... You should at least be able to control this behaviour in the settings. |

It\'s sort of a work in progress, eventually you will be able to configure which are displayed and will be able to click the stars in the context browser if someone figures out a non-evil way to do it.
