ID3 Tag Encoding Convert Troubles

Mon Feb 27, 2006 2:45 pm
amarok 1.3.1
I take my music collection from Win computer. In amarok i set box \"converting 8-bit encoding\" & options \"cp1251\" (i`m russian). All fine, but... When i edit any tag & rescan collection (or restart amarok) - amarok write tag in LOCALE encoding (UTF-8 for me) So, i can`t read UTF-8, or, if i disable converting - cp1251. I think, good idea - write in encoding for converting, if it enable & in LOCALE if converting disable. Or teach amarok show 2 & more encoding in playlist.
