It seems that the times in the playlist column of the main window are too short. I\'ve tried rescanning my collection, but they do not change. How can I get the correct times back into these tracks? I know amarok can get the correct times because it displays them in the OSD window.
Why are there two different times for my tracks? That seems like a bug right there. Oddly, it seems that everyone is complaining about Xine getting their track lengths wrong, but Xine is the only one that gets them right for me. Other engines simple report the same time as in the playlist column, which is too short. But, the Xine engine does not play the time listed in the OSD window. This definitely happens on mp3s and OGGs, including ones that I\'ve done myself and others. |

Check out the \"Mp3Fixer\" amaroK-Script. It\'s able to fix such shenanigans.

I can\'t seem to find any script with the word \"fix\" anywhere in the title or description. And only one has \"mp3\" in the title (\"mp3urlnotify\").
Secondly. even if my music files are the cause, the program should still show one consistent time, not two different times. I would consider this some form of enhancement or wish or whatever. Otherwise, it looks like amarok knows how long my song is, but just refuses to play the entire file. |

I have a SPOOKILY similar problem, and MP3fixer didn't make the blindest bit of difference. The MP3s play fine on my PC, but track times are mis-reported once they are on my iPod...
